No. If the dynamometer is being used properly and within its specified limitations, the 7000 Controller will impose the same road-load each and every time a test is run – just like on a regular track. Any effects of heat build up are countered by the PID Control Loop. Moreover, ET tests are typically very short in duration, and do not task the eddy current absorber as only a portion of the vehicle’s total output is absorbed – decreasing the probability of overheating.
