>> Call dreamscience for further information on +44 (0)1482 224433This is an Engine Dynamometer, custom mounted inside a 20ft Steel Container for easy transport. Used to test bio-diesels, std-diesels and LPG on real engines under test conditions to fully parametise fuel performance. Commissioned in February 2008 Bid now for a completely self contained dyno and engine with accoustic sealed engine bay, load cell and control bay. The unit is setup for diesel and LPG combustion analysis, used in both large scale biodiesel and LPG testing and comparison.
The engine bay contains a DAF Euro 4/5 engine with injectors for both diesel and LPG - switchable on the fly from the control bay. The load bay contains a retarder with steel diesel and gas tanks with a number of sensors to monitor fuel flow, weight, temperature, etc. The control bay contains a datasytem with 64 channel analyser, rack mounted engine, fuel controls (LPG and diesel can be swapped during engine operation), CODA 5-gas analyser, PC running the system and space for two operators with two chairs. The dyno comes with a selection of exhaust components, a spare output coupler shaft and a host of manuals. Power is via a 32Amp single and 32 Amp three Phase socket.
