AWD Gladiator

The AWD-Gladiator is our lowest inertia AWD Chassis Dynamometer Product. The system includes two sets of low-profile rollers; one fixed and the other mounted to a rail with an electronic wheelbase adjustment. AWD Gladiator The Gladiator system is particularly suited to testing purpose built high performance AWD automobiles, such as the Subaru WRX STI and Mitsubishi Evolution.

Speed synchronization is achieved by utilizing two PAUs, one for the primary and one for the secondary roller set. By adjusting the load of the second PAU, the speed of the secondary roller set can be controlled to match the speed of the secondary roller set, which is effective in achieving a balanced load across both axles and the vehicle drivetrain and for minimizing front to rear speed (MPH) bias.

AWD Gladiator

The AWD Gladiator Model comes with a pair of 140 Model Eddy Current Power Absorbers – each with a maximum load capacity of 625 horsepower per PAU for a total load capacity of 1,250 hp and a total power measurement capacity of 1,000 hp per axle, or 2,000 total.
