2WD Gladiator

The Gladiator is a super high performance steady state chassis dynamometer with plenty to offer, but in an ultra compact package and at a price any shop can afford. The heart of the Gladiator Series Dynamometer is Mustang’s battle proven aircooled Eddy Current Power Absorber. The Power Absorber allows the user to tune test vehicles at full throttle, part throttle and at all loads - allowing for maximization of cylinder pressure under virtually any driving condition.

Our PowerDyne Controller holds the vehicle under test at the desired speed while the tuner adjusts fuel and timing to maximize the vehicle’s potential. With 1000 hp measurement capacity, the Gladiator can handle super-high performance front wheel and rear wheel drive vehicles.

If your shop caters to the AWD market, the Gladiator can be purchased with the optional AWD attachment here. Motorcycles can even be tested with our Motorcycle adaptor kit. Our PC software is Windows XP based, and offers the user the ability to test and tune vehicles using the industry’s most expensive and complete Software Program.

In addition to steady state tuning, PowerDyne allows the user to perform Power Pulls, Drive-cycle Emulation, 1/4 and 1/8 mile Sprint Tests, Emulated Emissions Tests and General Road-Testing. A full graphing and report utility is available to the user for postanalysis of individual runs, with print-outs or the ability to save the results to your clients USB memory stick.
